Working for more healthy years for everyone

Despite all efforts, health disparities and inequalities of opportunities have increased in recent years rather than decreased. This makes the need and urgency for better health and participation all the greater. Together with HTRIC, we will foster new developments that support ageing and longevity, while improving people’s quality of life and making healthcare more efficient.

Transition accelerators
The Centre of Expertise Healthy Ageing contributes to more healthy years for citizens in the northern region of the Netherlands by working on equal opportunities & participation, fitting health care and healthy lifestyle & living environment. Through applied research, we develop knowledge that we transfer to students and professionals through education and learning networks.
