The AI Hub North Netherlands is there for entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, organizations and governments in the northern region that want to cooperate on a national and international level to discover the possibilities of AI and deploy it in a reliable way for a future-proof society.

AI Hub and applications

The AI hub North Netherlands (AI-hub NNL), as part of the national AI coalition and embedded in the European strategy around digitalization, will focus on the applications of AI within a number of prioritized sectors, in order to make the North Netherlands the testing ground of the Netherlands and Europe. The goal of the AI Hub NNL is to create a portfolio of high-impact innovation projects (TRL 7) within a wide range of relevant sectors.
These are high-impact public-private partnership (HIPP) projects, emerging from a chain approach. This approach contributes to the realistic embedding of the project, its sustainability and greater impact. In addition, from the HIPP projects the AI hub NNL fulfills a scouting role for new (unexpected) business opportunities.
