Hi!Noord is accelerating the transition from health care to “care for health” in the Northern Netherlands.

Hi!Noord is accelerating the transition from health care to ‘care for health’ in the Northern Netherlands.This is necessary – the current system, where action is only taken when someone’s health falters, is unsustainable, both in terms of costs and staffing. A new system in which we strive to ensure that everyone stays healthy for longer is needed!

Hi!Noord is based on the vision of four drivers: the UMCG, the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health, Center of Expertise Healthy Aging (Hanze University of Applied Sciences) and the Healthy Aging Network Northern Netherlands (HANNN).
