Jeffrey is a teacher/researcher with the prospective of becoming a lector. In September 2022 he became part of the Hanze University of Applied Science. After finishing his PhD in organic chemistry in 2016, he did a postdoc in a chemical immunology group at an academic hospital in Boston (USA). Two years later he joined the laboratory of Ben Feringa, here at the RUG, where he focused on the chemical biology of the Tuberculosis bacterium. Currently, he is working on developing a research program on the ‘Chemistry of Life Sciences’, focusing on medical applications.
