René is an experienced director and expert in the field of biotechnology. He has a degree in Biochemical Technology from Delft University of Technology, a PhD in Environmental Technology from Wageningen University/Wetsus, and an Executive MBA from the IMD Business School in Switzerland. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Paques, a global leader in biological wastewater and gas treatment.

Inspired by nature’s problem-solving capabilities, René is passionate about developing sustainable solutions for a circular economy. His vision is a human society in complete harmony with nature.
