Why is the Proton therapy centre in Groningen so important?

In this session we will discuss some of the exciting developments in cancer research, such as the use of CAR-T cells. We will provide you with valuable insights into these cutting-edge fields and inspire you to continue your work in improving healthcare.

Lymph node cancer is a serious and complex disease that affects thousands of people every year. Groningen has a rich history of research in lymph node cancer and is home to some of the most innovative and groundbreaking research in this field with a world-class team of scientists, doctors and researchers.

In addition, Groningen is also home to the Proton Center, one of the leading hospitals in the Netherlands for proton therapy, an advanced form of radiation therapy that uses protons to treat cancer..

To conclude the session, we will have a panel discussion with experts in lymph node cancer research, CAR-T cell therapy, and proton therapy. The panel will provide insights into the challenges and opportunities in these fields and offer advice for patients and healthcare professionals alike.

Prevention and early diagnostics are becoming increasingly important in modern healthcare. By detecting diseases and health issues early, we can improve treatment outcomes and help people live longer, healthier lives. In addition, prevention strategies can help people avoid getting sick in the first place, reducing healthcare costs and improving overall quality of life.

Our session will explore the latest developments in early detection and prevention, also within the field of Point-of-Care technology. We will discuss the benefits of early detection and prevention and how they can help individuals achieve success in all aspects of their lives.

Closing the Gap with healthcare disparities!

One of the major reasons for this gap is the lack of diversity in healthcare research, testing and treatment, Therefore, we must take into account the differences related to gender, age, alimentation and other factors.

Historically, medical research has been conducted primarily on men, with women being underrepresented or excluded altogether. This has resulted in a lack of understanding of how diseases and treatments affect men and women differently. Heart failure is an example of how sex differences in healthcare can have a significant impact on outcomes.

By improving the diversity in database, clinical trials and developing specific treatment suitable for different group of patients, we can ensure that everyone receives the best possible healthcare.

This session will give you insights on the differences of healthcare, the next steps to narrow the gap and a chance to learn from experts within this field.

The Key to success: what does a start-up need to become successful?

Starting a business is an exciting journey, but it can also be a challenging one. The road of a start-up is full of twists and turns, from developing your idea to finding investors to scale up your business. It requires a lot of hard work, dedication and a willingness to adapt to changes in the market.

That’s why this session is here today to help you improve your start-up. Whether you are just starting out or have been in business for a while, there are always ways to improve and grow your business. We will discuss best practices for developing your business plan, building your team, and finding the right investors to take your business to the next level.

Next to this, the session may be extended with our own Dragons’ Den pitch session. This is an opportunity for a start-up to pitch your idea to a panel of investors who are looking for the next big thing. You will have the chance to present your business plan, demonstrate your product or service, and convince the investors that your start-up is worth investing in. Are you interested to pitch here? Please contact HTRIC to receive more information.

Unlock the power of the future – the role of the technology shaping our future.

We will discuss the potential applications of serious gaming in education, the role of futurology in shaping public policies, and the potential of automatic journaling to improve mental health outcomes.

Serious gaming is a rapidly growing industry that uses digital games to educate, train, and entertain. It has significant potential to transform the way we learn, work, and interact with each other. Serious games can be used in education, healthcare, defense, and other industries to provide engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Futurology is the study of the future, with the goal of understanding what the world might look like in the years ahead. It involves analysing trends, patterns, and data to make predictions about the future. Futurologists help us envision how new technologies, economic and social changes will shape our world.

Finally, automatic journaling for mental disorder treatment is a powerful tool that uses technology to help people manage their mental health. It enables individuals to record their thoughts and feelings on a regular basis, providing insight into their mental state and enabling early detection and intervention of mental health issues.

Do you want to know how the future looks like? You will have a better view of the future after this session: how these technologies are transforming our world and what they mean for the future.
